The author proves a one-side extension result for CR functions defined on a real hypersurface of a complex manifold under an assumption that he calls \textit{sector property}. This result requires a construction of special families of analytic discs, that is by itself of some interest. The extension results have a long history, see e.g. \textit{A. Boggess, J. Polking} [Duke Math. J. 49, 757--784 (1982; Zbl 0506.32003)], \textit{C. Rea} [C. R. Acad. Sci., Paris, Sér. I 297, 163--166 (1983; Zbl 0568.32011)], \textit{M. Nacinovich} [Math. Ann. 268, 449--471 (1984; Zbl 0574.32045)], \textit{M. Nacinovich, G. Valli} [Ann. Mat. Pura Appl., IV. Ser. 146, 123--160 (1987; Zbl 0631.58024)], \textit{A. Boggess} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 103, No. 3, 847--855 (1988; Zbl 0664.32011)], \textit{A. E. Tumanov} [Math. USSR, Sb. 70, No. 2, 385--398 (1991); translation from Mat. Sb. 181, No. 7, 951--964 (1990; Zbl 0631.58024)], etc. The interest of the paper is related more to the methods than to the result in itself.
