By using a modulus function (i.e. a function \(f: [0,\infty)\to [0,\infty)\), subadditive, increasing, continuous from the right at \(0\), and \(f\) vanishes only at \(0\)), the authors define and study the properties of three sequence spaces. One of them e.g. is defined as follows \(\{x= (x_k): \lim_n{1\over\lambda_n} \sum_{k\in I_n} f(|\Delta^r x_{k+m}- L|)^{p+k}= 0\), uniformly in \(m\), for some \(L> 0\}\), where \((p_k)\) is a given sequence of positive real numbers, \((\lambda_n)\) a nondecreasing sequence of positive numbers tending to \(+\infty\) such that \(\lambda_{n+1}\leq \lambda_n+ 1\), \(\lambda_1= 1\); and \(I_n= [n-\lambda_n+ 1,n]\) \((n\geq 1)\). Here \(\Delta^r\) is the \(r\)th difference of sequences. The connections with generalized statistical convergence of these spaces are pointed out, too.
