      The authors study uniqueness properties of solutions of \(k\)-generalized KdV equations. The main result of this note is the following theorem: Let \(u_1, u_2 \in C([0,1]:H^3(\mathbb{ R}) \cap L^2(\left| x \right| ^2dx))\) be strong solutions of \[ \partial_t u + \partial_x^3 u + u^k\partial_x u = 0, \quad k \in \mathbb{ Z}^+ \] in the domain \((x,t) \in \mathbb{ R}\times [0,1]\). If \[ u_1 (\cdot,0) - u_2 (\cdot,0), \quad u_1 (\cdot,1) - u_2 (\cdot,1) \in H^1(e^{ax_ + ^{3 / 2}}\,dx) \] for any \(a > 0\), where \(x_+ = \max \{x;0\}\), then \(u_1 \equiv u_2\).
