The authors are concerned with the existence of multiple positive solutions for the second order \(p\)-Laplacian multi-point boundary value problem \[ (\phi_p(u'))'+a(t)f(t,u)=0,\quad t\in (0,1) \] \[ u(0)=0,\quad u(1)=\sum_{i=1}^{m-2}a_iu(\xi_i). \] The proof of the main results are based on a fixed point theorem for operators in a cone, see [\textit{D. Guo} and \textit{V. Lakshmikantham}, Nonlinear problems in abstract cones. Notes and Reports in Mathematics in Science and Engineering, 5. Boston, MA: Academic Press (1988; Zbl 0661.47045)].
