    It is classical that \({\mathbb L}^d=\omega_d{\mathbb H}^d=\omega_d{\mathbb C}^d=\omega_d{\mathbb P}^d\), where \(\omega_d\) is the volume of the \(d\)-dimensional unit ball, \({\mathbb L}^d, {\mathbb H}^d, {\mathbb C}^d, {\mathbb P}^d\) are \(d\)-dimensional Lebesgue, Hausdorff, central Hausdorff and packing measure on \({\mathbb R}^d\), respectively. The paper under review consider the gauge function \(g\), and discusses the relations among the above \(g\)-measures \({\mathbb H}^g, {\mathbb C}^g, {\mathbb P}^g\) . Let \(g\) be the gauge function which is equivalent to \(t^s, 0<s\leq d\), the authors prove that if \(s=d\), then \({\mathbb H}^g=c_1{\mathbb H}^d\), \({\mathbb C}^g =c_2{\mathbb C}^d\) and \({\mathbb P}^g=c_3 {\mathbb P}^d\) on \({\mathbb R}^d\), where the constants \(c_1, c_2 \) and \(c_3\) are determined by \[ c_1=c_2=\liminf_{t\to 0}\frac{g(t)}{t^d}\;{\text{ and }}\;c_3=\limsup_{t\to 0}\frac{g(t)}{t^d}, \] where \({\mathbb H}^g,{\mathbb C}^g\) and \({\mathbb P}^g\) are the \(g\)-Hausdorff \(g\)-central Hausdorff and \(g\)-packing measures on \({\mathbb R}^d\), respectively. In the case \(o < s\leq g d\), some examples are given to show that the above conclusion may fail. However, there is always some \(s\)-set \(F\subset\mathbb R^d\) such that \[ {\mathbb H}^g|_F=c_1{\mathbb H}^s|_F,\;\;{\mathbb C}^g|_F=c_2{\mathbb C}^s|_F,\;{\mathbb P}^g|_F=c_3{\mathbb P}^s|_F, \] where the constants \(c_1,c_2\) and \(c_3\) depend not on \(g\) and \(s\), but also on \(F\). A criterion is presented for judging whether an \(s\)-set has the above properties.
