It is studied an interacting fermionic model in which the Cooper pairs are related through a finite range time dependent interaction. For this model the author proves the mass generation and the equivalence with the BCS (Bardeen-Cooper-Schieffer) mean field model in the thermodynamic limit. The proof of this statement is based on a perturbative expansion about mean field theory which is convergent if the range of the interaction is long enough and vanishing in the thermodynamic limit.
