    For \(\alpha > 0,\beta < 1\), let \(R(\beta,\alpha)\) be the class of functions \(f (z) = z + a_{2} z^{2}+ \dots\) which are analytic in the unit disc \(D = \{z : |z| < 1\}\) and satisfied there the condition \(\Re\{f' (z) +\alpha zf ''(z)\} >\beta\). In this paper the authors obtain the integral representation formula for \(f\in R(\beta,\alpha)\) as \[ f (z) =\int_ {|x|=1}\bigg[(2\beta - 1)z + 2(1 - \beta)\bar x \sum^\infty_ {n=0}\frac {(xz)^{n+1}}{(n +1) (n\alpha + 1)}\bigg] \,d\mu(x), \] where \(\mu (x)\) is the probability measure on \(X = \{x : |x| = 1\}\). Using this formula they determine extreme points, upper bounds of \(|a_n |\) and \(|f (z)|\), and lower bounds of \(\Re\{f' (z)\}\) and \(\Re\{f (z)/z\}\) for \(R(\beta,\alpha)\). Finally the number \(\beta(\alpha) = \inf\{\beta : R(\beta,\alpha )\subset S^* \}\) is determined, where \(S^*\) is the usual class of univalent starlike functions.
