In the theory of ordered semigroups, Green's relations play an essential role, especially for decomposition of such semigroups. The present paper deals with the \(\mathcal P\)-trivial ordered semigroups defined via Green's relation \(\mathcal P\) and with the nil and \(\bigtriangleup\)-ordered semigroups. It is proved that every nil ordered semigroup is \(\mathcal P\)-trivial. Also, the paper shows that in nil ordered semigroups that are chains with respect to the divisibility ordering, all complete congruences are in fact Rees congruences and that this type of ordered semigroups are \(\bigtriangleup\)-ordered semigroups. Another important result states that the ideals of a nil ordered semigroup \(S\) form a chain under inclusion if and only if \(S\) is a chain with respect to the divisibility ordering.
