The authors quantify a subset of the complex plane for which the time scale Laplace transforms of the time scale functions of exponential type II exist. Moreover, they provide an inversion formula and a convolution for the time scale Laplace transform, and investigate some related properties. Particularly, in terms of the time scale Dirac delta functional, the identity element for the convolution is determined. Some illustrative examples are given.
