The author studies monotone iterative methods for numerical solutions of nonlinear integro-elliptic boundary value problem. He formulates a discrete system by the finite difference method and imposes a basic hypothesis on the coefficient matrix and the nonlinear function in the discrete system. Basic iterative schemes for the three types of quasi-monotone functions are presented and the monotone convergence of the sequence of iterations is proved. An application of the various monotone iterations is given to a modified logistic reaction-diffusion equation. Some numerical results of the monotone iterations for the modified logistic boundary value problem are given.
