Let \(T\) be a linear contraction \({\mathbb R}^{2} \to {\mathbb R}^{2}\) with diagonal matrix, \(\gamma\) and \(\lambda\) are diagonal elements of this matrix, and \(b\) is a cyclic vector of transformation \(T\). The author studies the connectedness locus of the iterate function system \(\left\{Tx, Tx+b\right\}\), i.e., the set of all points \((\gamma, \lambda)\subset (-1, 1)^2\) such that the attractor of this system is connected. In particular, he describes the tips of its cusps in terms of zeros of certain power series.
