Let \((|\tilde K^n|,\tilde K^n)\) be an \(n\)-cube-like polyhedron in \(\mathbb R^m\). The following are the main results of this paper. {Theorem 1.} Let \(f=(f_1,...,f_n):|\tilde K^n|\to \mathbb R^n\) be a continuous map, such that \(f_i(|{\mathcal F}_i^-|)\subset (-\infty,0]\), \(f_i(|{\mathcal F}_i^+|)\subset [0,\infty)\), for each \(i\leq n\). \noindent Then, there exists \(c\in |\tilde K^n|\) such that \(f(c)=0\). { Theorem 2.} Let \(L\subset \mathbb R^k\) and \(f=(f_1,...,f_n):|\tilde K^n\times^\circ L|\to \mathbb R^n\) be a continuous map, such that \(f_i(|{\mathcal F}_i^-\times^\circ L|)\subset (-\infty,0]\), \(f_i(|{\mathcal F}_i^+\times^\circ L|)\subset [0,\infty)\), for each \(i\leq n\). \noindent Then, there exists a continuum \(W\subset f^{-1}(0)\) such that \(W\cap (|\tilde K^n|\times \{t_0\})\neq \emptyset\), \(W\cap (|\tilde K^n|\times \{t_1\})\neq \emptyset\). The former of these is an extension of the Poincaré-Miranda theorem; and the latter one is a parameter extension of the same.
