The paper presents a study of the spectral properties of \(2\times 2\) upper triangular matrices with entries being Hilbert space operators. The topics treated include the Weyl spectrum, the Browder spectrum, the essential approximate point spectrum and the Browder essential approximate point spectrum. Also, Weyl-type theorems for upper triangular operator matrices are discussed.
