Let \((H,R)\) be a finite dimensional quasitriangular Hopf algebra over a field \(k\). Let \(_RH\) be the \textit{transmutation} braided Hopf algebra, as introduced by \textit{S. Majid} [in Math. Proc. Camb. Philos. Soc. 113, No. 1, 45-70 (1993; Zbl 0781.17006)], which is a Hopf algebra in the braided category \(_H\mathcal M\) of left \(H\)-modules. In the paper under review the authors give a categorical interpretation of the exact sequence \(1\to\text{Br}(k)\to\text{BM}(k,H,R)\to\text{Gal}^{qc}(_RH)\) established by \textit{Y. Zhang} [in J. Algebra 272, No. 1, 321-378 (2004; Zbl 1046.16023)], where \(\text{BM}(k,H,R)\) is the equivariant Brauer group of \(H\)-Azumaya algebras and \(\text{Gal}^{qc}(_RH)\) is the group of quantum commutative \(_RH\)-bi-Galois objects. The \(R\)-matrix \(R\) allows to identify \(_H\mathcal M\) with a braided monoidal subcategory \(_H^R\mathcal M\) of the category \(_H^H\mathcal{YD}\) of left Yetter-Drinfeld modules over \(H\). After developing the braided bi-Galois theory initiated by \textit{P. Schauenburg} [in Ann. Univ. Ferrara, Nuova Ser., Sez. VII 51, 119-149 (2005; Zbl 1142.16028) and J. Algebra 324, No. 11, 3199-3218 (2010; Zbl 1247.16026)], it is shown that \(\text{Gal}^{qc}(_RH)\) is isomorphic to the group \(\Aut^{br}(_H^H\mathcal{YD},{_H^R\mathcal M})\) of braided autoequivalences of \(_H^H\mathcal{YD}\) which are trivializable on \(_H^R\mathcal M\). It is also shown that the Brauer group \(\text{BM}(k,H,R)\) is isomorphic to the group \(\text{Pic}(_H\mathcal M)\) of one-sided invertible module categories of the category \(_H\mathcal M\), so-called the Picard group of \(_H\mathcal M\), and the morphism \(\text{BM}(k,H,R)\to\text{Gal}^{qc}(_RH)\) is then characterized categorically, relating it to a morphism \(\tau\colon\text{Pic}(_H\mathcal M)\to\Aut^{br}(_H^H\mathcal{YD},{_H^R\mathcal M})\).
