The purpose of this paper is to construct a new high-order efficient multi-step iterative method for solving systems of nonlinear equations. The new method is derivative-free with seventh-order of local convergence. In addition it uses just one matrix inversion per iterations. The computational efficiency is compared with some other known methods. The theoretical results are illustrated with some numerical examples.
