    This paper deals with the existence of multiple weak solutions for the following ordinary mixed boundary value system \[ \begin{cases} -(|u'_1|^{p_1-2}u'_1)'=\lambda F_{u_1}(t, u_1,\dots, u_m) & \mathrm{in}\, ]0, 1]\\ \vdots & \vdots \\ -(|u'_m|^{p_m-2}u'_m)'=\lambda F_{u_m}(t, u_1,\dots, u_m) & \mathrm{in}\, ]0, 1]\\ u_i(0) = u'_i(1) = 0, i = 1, \dots , m, \end{cases} \] where \(m \geq 2\), \(p_i > 1\), \((1 \leq i \leq m)\), \(F_{u_i}\) denotes the partial derivative of \(F\) respect to \(u_i\), \(\lambda\) is a positive real parameter, \(F:[0, 1]\times {\mathbb{R}}^m \rightarrow {\mathbb{R}}\) is a \(C^1\)-Carathéodory function such that \(F (t, 0, \dots , 0) = 0\) for every \(t \in [0, 1]\) and for every \(\rho > 0\) one has \[ \sup_{|(x_1,\dots,x_m)|\leq\rho} |F_{u_i} (t, x_1, \dots , x_m)|\, \in L^1([0, 1]), \quad i = 1, \dots , m. \] Here, the authors achieve their goals looking for different situations: the case in which the potential \(F\) satisfies a sublinear growth; the potential \(F\) and its derivatives \(F_{u_i}\) satisfy an Ambrosetti-Rabinowitz type condition; no asymptotic growth conditions are required at infinity on \(F\) and its derivatives \(F_{u_i}\). The approach adopted is based on abstract critical point theorems due to Bonanno for functionals of type \(I_\lambda=\Phi-\lambda\Psi\) with \(\Phi\) and \(\Psi\) defined on a reflexive Banach space [\textit{G. Bonanno}, Nonlinear Anal., Theory Methods Appl., Ser. A, Theory Methods 75, No. 5, 2992--3007 (2012; Zbl 1239.58011); Adv. Nonlinear Anal. 1, No. 3, 205--220 (2012; Zbl 1277.35170)].
