Let \(X\) be an Archimedean vector lattice and \(L_b(X)\) be the space of all order bounded operators on \(X\). If \(A\) is an \(f\)-algebra, the order bidual \(A^{\thicksim \thicksim}\) can be made an \(f\)-algebra, extending the product on \(A\). Let the \(f\)-algebra \(A\) have a unit element \(e\). An \(f\)-representation of \(A\) in \(X\) is a positive multiplicative mapping \(\Phi: A \rightarrow L_b(X)\) which satisfies \(\Phi(e) = I\). The range of \(\Phi\) is denoted by \(\Phi[A]\). One of the main results of the paper is the following. Theorem. Let \(\Phi\) be an \(f\)-representation of the unitial \(f\)-algebra \(A\) in the vector lattice \(X\). Then \(\Phi[A]\) is a lattice subspace of \(L_b(X)\). Moreover, \(\Phi\) is a lattice homomorphism. Let \(\Phi\) be an \(f\)-representation of a unital \(f\)-algebra \(A\) in \(X\). For each fixed \(x\in X\), the \(f\)-representation \(\Phi\) induces a linear map \(\Phi_x: A\rightarrow X\) via \(\Phi_x(a) = \Phi(a)(x)\) for each \(a\in A\). The orbit space \(\Phi[x] \subseteq X\) generated by \(\Phi\) on \(x\) is the subspace \(\operatorname{Ran}(\Phi_x) = \{\Phi_x(a):a\in A\}\). Theorem. For each \(x\in X\), the orbit space \(\Phi[x]\) of \(X\) is an Archimedean vector lattice. The mapping \(\Phi_x : A\rightarrow \Phi[X]\) is a lattice homomorphism. Moreover, the element \(0\leq x\in \Phi[X]\) is a weak order unit in \(\Phi[X]\). In the last part of the paper, it is shown that, if \(\Phi\) is an \(f\)-representation of the unital \(f\)-algebra \(A\) in the vector lattice \(X\), then \(\Phi\) induces an \(f\)-representation of the order bidual \(A^{\thicksim \thicksim}\) of \(A\).
