The notion of pseudofinite dimension, defined by \textit{E. Hrushovski} and \textit{F. Wagner} [Lond. Math. Soc. Lect. Note Ser. 350, 161--176 (2008; Zbl 1166.03013)], is used by model theorists to describe forking is various situations. The present paper extends a result of \textit{D. García} et al. [J. Math. Log. 15, No. 1, Article ID 1550002, 41 p. (2015; Zbl 1337.03041)] on witnessing dividing by a drop of pseudofinite dimension in pseudofinite structures to a more general situation by embedding any countable model of a model-complete theory in a pseudofinite structure while preserving the notion of dimension.
