Spherical density of hyperbolic metric and uniform perfectness (Q892227)

The author studies in this nice paper the spherical density of the hyperbolic metric on domains in the Riemann sphere. As the Euclidean metric is not sufficient to calculate distances outside a large closed disc in the extended complex plane, the author employs the spherical metric. He gives some lemmas and a main theorem with four assertions regarding the characterisation of having a uniformly perfect boundary for a hyperbolic domain in the Riemann sphere in terms of the spherical metric. The results are given nicely using complex analysis methods.
