Let \((M,g)\), \((N,h)\) be two compact Riemannian manifolds, with \(\dim(M)\geq 3\). The authors consider \(C^{\infty}\) harmonic maps \(\phi : (M,g) \rightarrow (N,h)\) with \(m\)-energy and \(L^{2}\)-norm of the tension field which are uniformly bounded above. They prove that any sequence of such maps causes the bubbling phenomena. As a corollary they get the bubbling theorem for harmonic maps.
