    This paper is devoted to a semilinear heat equation of the form \[ \frac{\partial u}{\partial t} = \frac{\partial^2 u}{\partial\theta} + |u|^{p-1} u,\quad x= e^{i \theta}, \quad \theta \in \mathbb{R}, \tag{1} \] considered in \([0, +\infty) \times \mathbb{S}\), where \(\mathbb{S}\) is the sphere \(\mathbb{S}^1\). The authors study equation ({1}) with the periodic boundary conditions \[ {2} u(\cdot, t) = u(\cdot + 2 \pi, t). \tag{2} \] There exists \(T > 0\) and a solution \(u(\theta, t) \in \mathbb{S} \times [0, T)\) such that \(u\) blows up in finite time \(T\) only in \(2\pi \mathbb{Z}\), and a sharp description of its blow-up is obtained. Furthermore, the geometrical interpretation of the finite-dimensional parameters in terms of the blow-up time and blow-up point imply the stability of the constructed solution with respect to the initial data.
