The authors consider the Vlasov-Poisson equation for both the electrostatic and gravitational cases. The purpose of the paper is to extend the existing results for Lagrangian solutions to initial data in \(L^1\) with finite energy in the repulsive case, avoiding the \(L \log ^+ L\) assumption, using a well-defined flow. The paper starts with a repetition of many well-known results. The proofs use Sobolev embedding and strong convergence.
