This paper study the incompressible nematic liquid crystal flows in \(n\)-dimensional (\(n = 2 \text{ or }3\)) bounded domains with a viscosity coefficient depending on the density. The authors first show the local existence and uniqueness of a strong solution. The some blowup criterions of strong solution are established in terms of the gradient of density and Serrin-type condition for a velocity field in the 3-dimensional case, and only in terms of the gradient of density in the 2-dimensional case.
