The authors study a doubly parabolic Keller-Segel chemotaxis system with nonlinear diffusions \(\nabla\cdot(\varphi(u)\nabla u)\), nonlinear sensitivity functions \(\psi\) (both of power type: \(\varphi(u)\geq c_1u^p\), \(\psi(u)\sim u^q\)) and logistic source terms \(g\) estimated as \(g(u)\leq u-\mu u^k\) in bounded domains with homogeneous Neumann condition on the boundary. For either \(q<k-1\) or \(q=k-1\) and large \(\mu\), the existence of a global in time and bounded classical solution is shown.
