This entertaining article presents the main results on continued fractions obtained by Leonhard Euler, and it is written throughout in Euler's style (and with Euler's sense of rigor). Keywords are Brouncker's continued fraction expansion of \(\frac 4{\pi}\), Euler's continued fraction expansion of \(e\) and the connection with Riccati's differential equation, as well as Euler's use of continued fraction for making sense of divergent series.
