The paper under review deals with a problem of reinforcement of a Mindlin-Timoshenko plate with a thin stiffener of thickness \(\delta\) on a part of the boundary. The author considers the case where the mass density, the rigidity, and the shear modulus of the material of the stiffener behave as \(\delta^{-a}\), for some \(a \in ]0,+\infty[\). Then the author analyzes the asymptotic behavior as \(\delta\) goes to zero and shows different limit models in the three situations \(a \in ]0,1[\), \(a=1\), and \(a \in ]1,+\infty[\).
