The boundary behavior of some subclass of mappings with finite distortion in metric spaces is studied. The authors consider the so-called ring \(Q\)-homeomorphisms in \(\lambda(\varepsilon)\)-regular metric spaces, which are more general than Ahlfors regular metric spaces. Let \(D\) and \(D^{\,\prime}\) be domains in metric spaces \((X, d, \mu)\) and \((X, d^{\,\prime}, \mu^{\,\prime})\) with measures \(\mu\) and \(\mu^{\,\prime}\), respectively. Under some additional assumption on the function \(\lambda\), it is proved that the ring \(Q\)-homeomorphisms between the domains \(D\) and \(D^{\,\prime}\) admit a boundary extension to the boundary of \(D\), provided that \(D\) is locally connected at the boundary, \(\partial D^{\,\prime}\) is strongly accessible and \(Q\) satisfies some integral condition.
