    The author establishes the existence of two solutions of opposite constant sign for a Neumann problem involving a possibly nonhomogeneous operator in the principal part of the elliptic equation. These solutions are obtained through minimization of an associated functional constructed by suitably truncating the elliptic equation. The regularity theory and strong maximum principle are also used.
