      The paper under review proposes a complete combinatorial description of the quiver for the monoid algebra, over complex numbers, of the monoid \(PT_n\) of all partial transformations of the set \(\{1,2,\ldots,n\}\). The description is based on the relation between the algebra in question and the category whose objects are all finite sets and morphisms are all surjective maps. Further, it is shown that, for \(n>1\), the complex monoid algebra of \(PT_n\) has three blocks. As a bonus, quivers are also computed for the complex monoid algebras of the following monoids: the monoid of all order-preserving partial functions, the monoid of all order-decreasing partial functions, the monoid of all order-decreasing total functions, and, finally, for the partial Catalan monoid.
