The \(s-d\) model refers to a chain of spin \(1/2\) electrons that interact magnetically with a two-level impurity. Originally it was introduced in the context of the Anderson localization model and used by Kondo in his Hamiltonian diagonalization analysis. A variant of the Kondo model has been introduced by Andrei and solved by means of the Bethe ansatz. Presently, a new development of a hierarchical version of the Andrei model [\textit{G. Benfatto} et al., J. Stat. Phys. 161, No. 5, 1203--1230 (2015; Zbl 1341.82029)] is reported. The model is defined by introducing a family of hierarchical fields and specifying a propagator for each pair of fields. The average of any monomial of fields is then computed using the Wick rule. The procedure is similar to that undertaken before, though the result is slightly simpler. The qualitative features of the models (elder and new) are basically the same.
