Symmetric homologies and cohomologies (Q909017)

Let \(\Sigma\) k-Mod and k-DG Mod be the categories of symmetric and differential graded k-modules, respectively. The author constructs a functor \[ \Sigma^*: \Sigma^{op}k-Mod\to k-DG Mod \] by means of the simplicial algebra \(\nabla (*,*)\) [\textit{A. K. Bousfield} and \textit{V. K. A. M. Gugenheim}, Mem. Am. Math. Soc. 179 (1976; Zbl 0338.55008)] and establishes an isomorphism \(HS^*(M)\approx H(\Sigma^*M)\) for any symmetric k-module M, where \(HS^*\) is the symmetric cohomology functor [\textit{Z.
