For a dense linear manifold D of a separable Hilbert space H, \(L^+(D)\) denotes the maximal \(Op^*\)-algebra on D, i.e., the *-algebra (with the involution \(A\to A^+=A^*| D)\) of all operators A for which AD\(\subset D\) and \(A^*D\subset D\). Let t be a topology on D by the following systems of seminorms: \[ \| \xi \|_ A=\| A\xi \|,\quad A\in L^+(D). \] On \(L^+(D)\) authors define the uniform topology \(\tau_ D\) by the seminorms: \[ \| A\|_ V=\sup \{| \phi,A\psi)|:\quad \phi,\psi \in V\} \] (where V is a t-bounded set) and let \(\sigma_ 0\) be a \(w^*\)-topology on \(L^+(D)\). A linear, normalized \((f(I)=1)\), positive (f(A)\(\geq 0\), if (Ax,x)\(\geq 0\) for \(x\in D)\) functional f is said to be a normal state if there exists a linear operator C with the property: for all \(A,B\in L^+(D)\) the operator ACB is nuclear and such that \(f(A)=tr AC.\) The authors study a class of normal states on \(L^+(D)\) and give a sufficient condition on D under which this class is \(\sigma_ 0\)- sequentially complete.
