This is a continuation of the first part [ibid. 64, No.10, 381-384 (1988; Zbl 0669.10072)]. Erdős-Turán type estimates with respect to general distribution functions and improved constants are proved. In this second part of the paper several technical lemmas for the proof of the main results (stated in part I) are established.
