The authors continue considerations begun in part I [see the preview in Zbl 0682.53004] in which on the basis of the d-dimensional analogy of the photometric distance law carrier sets of isophotic area elements with a fixed position or forming strips were investigated. It was found that these planar carrier curves (as basis for higher-dimensional carrier sets) are Clairaut multiplicatrices and sine spirals of index d-1, respectively. Now a kinematic principle is shown, namely for generating isophotic sets of area elements with respect to classical central illuminations from suitably given ones. In particular, this yields the following connection between both mentioned classes of curves: If one slides a sine spiral of index \(k\in {\mathbb{R}}\) throughout a fixed point on a fixed tangent of it, then its pole runs through a Clairaut curve of index k. For example, in this manner the lemniscate of Bernoulli generates Playfair's curve, the cardioide leads one to Münger's bioval and the parabola yields the kampyla of Eudoxus.
