[For part I, cf. \textit{T. Hirai} and the author, ibid. 28, No.4, 695-749 (1988; Zbl 0674.17010).] In this paper unitary representations of the Lie superalgebras \(A(n,0)={\mathfrak sl}(n+1/1)\) are discussed. The simple Lie superalgebras were classified by \textit{V. G. Kac} [Adv. Math. 26, 8-96 (1977; Zbl 0366.17012)], and include the class of special linear Lie superalgebras A(m,n). In the present article, the root space decompositions and the real forms of \({\mathfrak sl}(n,1)\) are recalled. Then it is noted that the \({\mathbb{Z}}\)-gradation of \({\mathfrak g}={\mathfrak sl}(n,1)\) induces a \({\mathbb{Z}}\)- gradation of the \({\mathfrak g}\) highest weight representations. The induced module \(\bar V(\Lambda\)), introduced by \textit{V. G. Kac} [Lect. Notes Math. 676, 597-626 (1978; Zbl 0388.17002)] and constructed from an irreducible \({\mathfrak g}_ 0\) module L(\(\Lambda\)), is recalled and trivially redefined for the case that L(\(\Lambda\)) is infinite- dimensional. Then, some branching rules of \(\bar V(\Lambda\)) restricted to \({\mathfrak g}_ 0\) are given for \({\mathfrak sl}(2/1)\) and \({\mathfrak sl}(3/1)\) (it should be noted that these branching rules can also be obtained from Kac's character formula for \(\bar V(\Lambda\)) in the case that L(\(\Lambda\)) is finite-dimensional). Finally, the unitarity condition for irreducible representations of \({\mathfrak sl}(2/1)\) is investigated, and explicit realizations of the irreducible unitary representations are given.
