The root system of prime subgroups of a free lattice-ordered group (without G.C.H.) (Q914714)

For the free lattice-ordered group \(F_{\eta}\) of rank \(\eta\), the root system \({\mathcal P}_{\eta}\) of prime subgroups has been described in considerable detail by the second author [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 290, 81- 100 (1985; Zbl 0546.06014)] for \(\eta \leq \omega_ 0\) and (with GCH) for regular \(\eta >\omega_ 0\). This work is a revision of that description. It is proved that almost all of this description is obtained without GCH, and most of it without regularity.
