Consider a linear congruential generator of the type \(x_{k+1}\equiv ax_ k+b(mod m),\) \(x_{k+1}\in \{0,...,m-1\}\), \(k\geq 0\). An upper bound for the so called Beyer ratio is proved. Some numerical results are given.
