The authors consider separation axioms in induced fuzzy topological spaces. The lattice used is completely distributive with order-reversing involution (their so-called fuzzy lattice), and induced is taken to mean fully stratified (i.e. Lowen FTS) and all non-empty closed sets upper semi-continuous with respect to the underlying crisp topological space. Early fuzzy separation axioms \((T_ 1\), \(T_ 2\), regular) are satisfied by induced spaces if and only if they are satisfied by their underlying space. But for normality to have the same property a cardinality condition needs to be imposed on the lattice. That this is necessary is illustrated by a counterexample. As in previous papers by these authors co-topologies are used throughout.
