Let G be a right-ordered group. Consider the right regular representation \(\phi\) of G; \(\phi\) (G) is a subgroup of the \(\ell\)-group H of all order- automorphisms of an appropriately chosen linear ordered set. We denote by \(G^*\) the \(\ell\)-subgroup of H generated by the set \(\phi\) (G). The author proves two theorems on the relations between G and \(G^*\); we quote the second one: Assume that G has a finite subnormal series \(G=G_ n\geq...\geq G_ 1\geq G_ 0=E\) with linearly ordered factors \(G_ k/G_{k-1}\). Let \(X_ k\) be the \(\ell\)-variety generated by \(G_ k/G_{k-1}\). Then \(G^*\) belongs to the \(\ell\)-variety \(X_ 1X_ 2...X_ n\). Some interesting examples are given.
