On Gorenstein orders (Q916754)

The structure of Gorenstein orders \(\Lambda\) over a local domain is investigated. If the algebra containing \(\Lambda\) has more than one block, a theorem of Milnor on projective modules implies a description of Gorenstein orders \(\Lambda\) in terms of their pullback structure. Using the characterization of representation-finite local orders by Drozd and Kirichenko, representation-finite local Gorenstein orders are described. The author also characterizes local Gorenstein orders in terms of a bilinear form in a similar way as this is done for Frobenius algebras.
