The behavior of certain hyperplane mean values of solutions of n- dimensional linear second order uniformly parabolic equations on an infinite strip is studied. The results are used to prove a representation theorem for solutions satisfying a one-sided \(L^ p\) constraint. An extended maximum principle is also given as an application.
