Derivation of Fisher flocks (Q917020)

In this paper, ``derivation'' is a procedure for obtaining flocks on a quadratic cone in PG(3,q) from a given flock. Here a flock is a set of disjoint irreducible conics whose union is all of the points of the cone other than the vertex. The derived flock may not be isomorphic to the given flock. The author shows that flocks derived from a Fisher flock are Fisher flocks.
