Let \(\{Y_ j\), \(j\in {\mathbb{Z}}^ d\}\) (d\(\geq 1)\) be a real-valued i.i.d. random field. Let \(V\subset {\mathbb{Z}}^ d\) be a finite set and consider a function \(h_ V: {\mathbb{R}}^ V\to {\mathbb{Z}}\). Further let \({\mathcal V}=\{V+j:\) \(V\in {\mathcal V}_ 0\), \(j\in {\mathbb{Z}}^ d\}\) where \({\mathcal V}_ 0\) is a collection of the sets V. Define \(X^ V_ j=h_ V(Y_ k\), \(k\in j+V)\), \(j\in {\mathbb{Z}}^ d\), and \[ S_ N=\sum \{X^ V_ 0:\;V\in {\mathcal V},\quad V\subset A_ N\}, \] where \(A_ N=\{1,2,...,N\}^ d\). The main aim of the authors is to study the limit distribution of \(S_ N\).
