    Let \(R_{\mu}\) be the exponential Radon transform, i.e. \((R_{\mu}f)(p,\omega)=\int_{x\cdot \omega =p}f(x)e^{\mu x\cdot \omega_{\bot}}dx.\) It is shown that \(g\in C_ 0^{\infty}({\mathbb{R}}^ 1\times S^ 1)\) is of the form \(g=Rf\) with \(f\in C_ 0^{\infty}({\mathbb{R}}^ 2)\) iff \[ \sum^{n}_{k=0}\left( \begin{matrix} k\\ n\end{matrix} \right)\frac{d}{d\phi}(\frac{d}{d\phi}-i)...(\frac{d}{d\phi}- (k-1)i)\int_{{\mathbb{R}}^ 1}(\mu p)^{n-k}g(p,\omega)dp=0 \] for each odd integer \(>0\).
