Decomposition of a positive operator (Q917887)

Let \(L^ r(E,F)\) denote the space of all regular operators from the vector lattice E into the Dedekind complete vector lattice F. If \(T\in L^ r(E,F)\) and B is a band in \(L^ r(E,F)\) then \(P_ BT\) denotes the band projection of T onto B. The author presents several formulas for evaluation of \((P_ BT)(x)\), \(x\in E\), for various bands B. These results generalize the corresponding results of Aliprantis-Burkinshaw and Ben de Pagter.
