Periodic entrainment of chaotic logistic map dynamics (Q919339)

The authors consider the map dynamics \(x_{n+1}=F(x_ n;c)\) and a periodic governing set \(\{g_ n\}\). The non-autonomous system \(x_{n+1}=F(x_ n;c)+G_ n\) then has the solution \(x_ n=g_ n\) if \(G_ n=g_{n+1}-F(g_ n;c).\) The study explores the values of c which yield entrained solutions, their basin of entrainment, and the basins of bounded solutions and their character for the logistic map substituted for \(F(x_ n;c)\).
