For functions in a finite-dimensional algebra it is in general impossible to prove theorems in the direction of Cauchy integral formulas because these algebras are normally no division algebras. In the paper under review the author does a step in that direction by using a trick. He associates to the algebra A of dimension m the Clifford algebra over \({\mathbb{R}}^ m\) and uses the well known theory in that Clifford algebra. It turns out to be possible to transfer the Cauchy formula to the algebra A getting a Cauchy-Pompeiu formula i.e. a formula containing also an integral over the involved domain.
