Let \(\omega\in (0,\pi)\) be defined by the equation \[ \cot \omega =\cot \alpha_ 1+\cot \alpha_ 2+\cot \alpha_ 3, \] where \(\alpha_ 1\), \(\alpha_ 2\), \(\alpha_ 3\) are the angles of a triangle (T) on an Euclidean plane. Such an angle \(\omega\) is called the Brocard angle of (T). The author proves the following inequality: \(\omega\geq 3\{\sum 1/(\alpha_ i-\omega)\}^{-1}\); equality holds if and only if \(\alpha_ 1=\alpha_ 2=\alpha_ 3=\pi /3\).
