It is given a simple proof of Levinson's inequality for 3-convex functions in the version proved by \textit{S. Lawrence} and \textit{D. Segalman} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 35, 96-100 (1972; Zbl 0261.26016)] renouncing the continuity of functions.
