    The author studies nonlinear singular integral equations of the form \((*)\quad a(t)\phi (t)+b(t)\phi [\alpha (t)]+\frac{c(t)}{\pi i}\int_{L}\frac{\phi (\tau)}{\tau -t}d\tau +\frac{d(t)}{\pi i}\int_{L}\frac{\phi (\tau)}{\tau -\alpha (t)}d\tau +\int_{L}K_ M(t,\tau)\phi (\tau)d\tau =\Lambda \int_{L}\frac{f(t,\tau,\phi (\tau))}{\tau -t}d\tau +\mu \int_{L}\frac{F(\alpha (t),\tau,\phi (\tau))}{\tau -\alpha (t)}d\tau.\) Here, L is a contour in the complex plane, \(\alpha\) (t) is the Carleman shift of L, a(t), b(t), c(t), d(t) are continuously differentiable functions on L, \(K_ M(t,\tau)\) is a regular kernel and f and F, respectively, satisfy Lipschitz-like conditions. The equation (*) is studied in a generalized Hölder space \(H^ L(\omega)\). Under some conditions the existence of a solution of (*) in \(H^ L(\omega)\) is proved by use of Schauder's fixed point theorem.
